There are wedding days that you will always remember, and there are wedding days that you will NEVER FORGET! Elle and Michael’s was the latter ? First we must start by telling you how their original planned wedding day was going to look: about 125-150 people in attendance, live band, lots of fun outdoor lawn games, Kentucky Derby style attire, hosted at a private property on the river, w/ a circular stadium seating set up for the ceremony, catered meal, and many, many other things. Scott and I were very excited about this wedding because it was unique, and we really liked how Elle and Michael were planning everything to just be fun, relaxed, and a big celebration with friends and family.
Fast forward to about a month before the wedding, and COVID-19 hit! Michael and Elle went back and forth on whether having the wedding with limited guests, or to cancel altogether. This was especially hard knowing that Michael’s family was in Canada, leaving them absolutely no way of attending the wedding (since the borders were closed). After much consideration, they decided to move forward with the wedding, and have about 80 guests on Zoom.
