Hello there! Meet Mary Frances (Maer) & Kevin! Their wedding day at the Renaissance Vinoy in St. Petersburg was fabulous and beautiful!
Some of my favorites things/moments of the day were… 1. Maer! She was/is stunning! Femme Akoi‘s hair and makeup team did an amazing job, and I must say that Maer’s hair stayed in place ALL day (and we had a busy day!). 2. Watching our Life’s Highlights team (Scott and Carolina) throw balloons on top Maer’s dress for that 1 specific picture that I wanted ? 3. The tea garden ceremony was a beautiful setting to say I do with all their family and friends watching. 4. I really enjoyed seeing Kevin for the first time when he entered the reception with his snazzy, sparkly suit coat! Say WHAT?!? I was like uh oh, this man is ready to bust a move. To me he looked like a guy straight out of a 50’s band ? 5. During the father daughter dance, Maer and her dad shared a nice dance together then at the end after all the cheers, her dad looked over at Maer and the song “I know you want to leave me, but I refuse to let you go!” came on, and they continued to have a super fun moment. That was really cute! 6. The best man’s speech was really funny by Kevin’s brother, Kyle. He had everyone in stitches many, many times, and had quite the fan club. 7. I really enjoyed watching Maer’s grandma cut a rug on the dance floor! She had so much energy and excitement the entire night. I can only pray for that much enthusiasm when I’m her age! 8. Lastly, it was really fun sending Maer and Kevin off with a 2nd line at the end of the night. Everyone participated, making a very long line around the ballroom while waving their napkins above their head. What a fun night!
It was an honor working with Maer, Kevin, and their family and friends. Everyone was super sweet, and willing and ready to do whatever it took to keep the picture timeline on point ? That’s always wonderful for a photographer! Thank you guys!
