On a rare occasion, I (Scott) will take on a photography project of my own. This is one such occasion. Meet the Stacy’s. They are a family of 15 who attend our church, and they are amazing in so many ways. Unlike what our culture might suggest, Doug and Fran view their 13 children as an incredible heritage, not a burden. This family is richly blessed in this area.
I’ve had this project in my mind for about 6 months, where I would capture their entire family having a meal together. When their oldest daughter (Mae) and her husband (Ryne) came into town back in May, it was the perfect opportunity. Little did I know that they were planning to announce that they were pregnant with the first Stacy grandbaby! It was such a beautiful moment for their family, and I was honored to be a fly on the wall.
